As expected ,T-Mobile International has announced it would begin offering Apple Inc.’s iPhone in Germany beginning Nov. 9.

    Earlier in the week Telefonica's O2 Europe plc said it would be the carrier offering the iPhone in Britain. France's Orange SA should announce its own exclusive deal with Apple soon.

    The move to expand beyond the States is one more step down the road of reaching Apple’s goal of selling 10 million units by the end of 2008. The 1 millionth iPhone recently was sold, and the recent price cut to $399 may also spark higher volumes.
