    Zhang Qi, team leader of the E-tag Standard Work Team of the Ministry of Information Industry, introduced at a recent meeting that they had already initiated the trial application of RFID in some departments and regions that have the right conditions, which mainly includes using RFID on agriculture, public security, production management and control, supply chain management and modern logistics, anti-counterfeiting and security management, digital tourism and modern service industry.

    Zhang also disclosed that the State had approved RFID trial application to be initiated in six areas in Qingdao. In addition, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Dalian, Chengdu and Nanjing are also busy planning for RFID trial use.
