Sonus Networks Inc. unveiled Monday a new version of its business and residential voice services software platform.
Access 7.0 leverages Sonus¡¯ IMS architecture allowing operators to reduce deployment time and improve overall security. It also incorporates IMS/TISPAN-compliant access technologies and integrates with third-party or traditional last-mile connections, the company said.
Sonus said the update is aligned with operator requirements and the access platform serves as a base for the integration of services and any customization efforts that reflect the needs of the service provider. Reusing last-mile connection from the TDM framework saves network operators time during the service integration phase, the company said.
